So far
@TheWheelOfTime
has thoroughly impressed me.
Admittedly I'd prefer no changes but the changes so far have been fan friendly, changing things to allow the story to be itself instead of to take the story in a new direction.

@TheRealHopper1@WhitecloaksPips But there comes a point where many acceptable changes become too much in the whole.
Nearly every detail from the books has been changed. I may be the only one but I *liked* the details in the books.
@TheRealHopper1@WhitecloaksPips Oh thank goodness, there are some reasonable people on Twitter of Time again.
I feel the same way which is why I haven't been active since Season 1 dropped.
That said I'm not some book purist who insists every change is bad.
(only watched S2 1-3 so far)
@princesofvenus@VirginieRaFaEll "And Egwene has never done anything wrong ๐ผ"
Please be a joke, please be a joke, please be a joke, please be a joke.
@Z3us65@R3BECCAK 3. Is extremely iffy. The only redemption she gets is basically to undo what she had done. If she never did it she never would have been there.
And "it maybe kept him alive against Padan Fain's stab wound" is the thinnest of thin reasoning.
@estaeger @R3BECCAK I mean Lan was going to kill himself over a death that wasn't and was prevented and allowed to live out a full and happy life with the love of his life because of it. And Moiraine did at least warn him. It's still icky tho.
@FourfieldsY6 @Diego2112Gaming @MarkCushen87 @DanielBGreene Right the book series The Lord of the Rings has been regarded as one of the greatest works of Literature in the 20th century and spawned an incredible movie adaptation because they're decent.
@DanielBGreene It's possible but highly unlikely. Like maybe one adaptation in 1 Million.
We are *just* getting to the point where I credit some modern Greek Myths on the same level as the originals but it's very recent.
I don't expect it to happen for LotR, WoT, etc in the next millennium.
@RTSpearman But Season 1 still equates to Book 1. It was just created with knowledge from later books in mind. That's the benefit of adapting an already created work of literature instead of creating it. Dune has 6 books by Frank Herbert and however many from his son to draw on as well.
@RTSpearman Equating Rafe's intention/promise to adapt the entire series as a whole to Season 1 somehow being an adaptation of 14 books is a convoluted thought.
Season 1 is Book One. It opens and closes in the same place. There is quite a bit of heavily adapted material from later books.
