An investigation shows that an old video from a different incident is being circulated to promote a false claim.
Through reverse image searches, several scenes from the viral video were found to match a video published on 17 November by the online news portal Daily Sokal. According to Daily Sokal, during clashes between protesters and law enforcement agencies in the Dhanmondi-32 area over the verdict against Sheikh Hasina, a Dhaka College student was injured. Police later sent the injured student back to his dormitory by rickshaw.
