✈️ The King has visited RAF Marham to learn about the capabilities of the F-35B Lightning aircraft and to meet serving aviators and their families.
Managed jointly by the RAF and Royal Navy, the F-35B aircraft operates across both RAF Marham and the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers.
As Royal Honorary Air Commodore, His Majesty viewed the cockpit of the aircraft and met members of the wider airbase community, including a Community Support, Resilience and Climate Change Group.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted Pakistan's perspective on global peace and regional stability underscoring the importance of cooperation and collaborative efforts to address common security challenges.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s ongoing efforts and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, as well as its constructive role in promoting peace and stability. Both sides reiterated their resolve to further strengthen bilateral ties and expand engagements in defence and security.

Cambridge Central Mosque is notable for its architectural quality, environmental leadership and role as a place of worship and community engagement.
The sustainability-focussed mosque combines its design, energy-efficient systems and renewable energy generation to significantly reduce carbon emissions.
🔬 The King also officially opened the New Whittle Laboratory, an aerospace and energy laboratory based at the University of Cambridge.
@TheSMI has a partnership with the Laboratory, reflecting a shared ambition to translate breakthrough innovation into real-world deployment.
☀️ In sunny Norfolk, The Queen visited Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney, a charity that offers home, support and work opportunities to people experiencing homelessness.
❤️🩹 Her Majesty, who has been Patron of Emmaus UK for twenty years, visited the charity’s new centre for women. Residents, known as companions, shared with The Queen their experiences of overcoming homelessness and recovering from trauma.
Her Majesty also visited the on-site charity shop, a working forge where companions make jewellery to sell, and the new “Book Nook” supported by The Queen’s Reading Room.
