Every day Forrest watches other dogs leave... while he keeps waiting. 💔
He doesn't need a miracle—just one person willing to give him a chance.
Please share his story. The right share could become the reason he finally finds a forever home. 🐶❤️

Our dogs need rescue spaces for rehoming via rescue, they are not for private rehoming directly from the pound. They are available via JACOB'S POUND DOGS UK.

A serial dog abuser who once appeared on Jeremy Kyle after he rammed an umbrella down a terrified dog's throat has attacked more dogs, leaving one dead and another injured.
Serial dog abuser DAVID POGMORE, 35, from Warsop viciously assaulted two pugs, leaving one dead and the other severely injured.
In September 2012, Pogmore was sent to prison for four months and banned from keeping animals for 15 years after attacking a sprnger spaniel called Ruby.
The court heard how he pushed an umbrella into the terrified dog's throat and pinned her to the floor with a walking stick.
She suffered a swollen, bloodshot eye, bruising around the head, a cut to back of the head and bleeding from a cut to the back of the throat.
In November 2016 Pogmore appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show puportedly to find out the results of a paternity test.
Jeremy then confronted Pogmore after unexptectedly revealing details of his animal cruelty conviction to the audience.
Pogmore stormed off the show amid a sea of boos, with the episode making the national newspapers the next day.
This month, Pogmore was back before the courts to answer further charges of animal cruelty as well as a breach of his 15-year ban.
While details of the case haven't yet made the press, we understand that it related to pugs Bernie and Betsy, both owned by a woman known to Pogmore.
The owner took to FB and wrote:
"Two years ago, on two separate occasions, this evil bastard abused and seriously injured my Pug dogs.
"My baby boy Bernie never recovered. He kicked him so hard that it caused devastating injuries to his spine and brain. Sadly, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to have him put to sleep.
"On a separate occasion, he attacked my girl Betsy. He pulled her femur, threw her into a table, badly bruised her head, caused bleeding in her eye, and kicked her twice. She had to undergo surgery and have a metal rod fitted in her leg to hold it together. The damage he caused has changed her life forever.
"Betsy is now incontinent, frightened of most men, suffers with PTSD, is terrified of loud noises, and often cries in her sleep.
"Today was the sentencing hearing.
"He was sentenced to 2 years and 2 months in prison, which he will serve in full, and he has been banned from owning or being around animals again."
James the ex-lab beagle is scared of a blueberry.
It's funny for a sec, then it hits you:
At Ridglan, new things meant pain.
We're teaching him that's no longer the case. And he makes progress every day!
@ddoggiesmommy Absolutely heartbreaking. I wish I could scoop her up and show her what life can be like away from the monsters, and love her forever. You'll be OK little girl 😢💔
The RSPCA is urging football fans to pack away goal netting after play, with the World Cup expected to inspire people to get outside for a kickabout. The RSPCA is highlighting the story of two fox cubs that were found with goal netting wrapped tightly around their bodies.

Nothing changes for the beagles at MBR Acres, Huntingdon, England. Police surrounding and isolating wheelchair users. All supporters want the world to see what is happening. We must close this American company. A beagle breeding factory that sells puppies, parts and blood.
🚨 URGENT HEAT WARNING🚨
The forecast is now showing temperatures of up to 37°C, here at Foster Sanctuary we are deeply concerned.
We currently have 90 dogs in our care. Some are elderly, some have thick double or triple coats, and some are recovering from illness too
Keeping every single one of them safe during this extreme heat is a huge operation.
Our team will be starting work from 5–6am each morning and working right through until the evening to make sure every dog stays as cool, hydrated and comfortable as possible.
It's like organising a military operation, with cooling routines, fresh water, shaded areas, cooling mats, ice toys, frozen treats, hydration drinks and constant monitoring throughout the day.
We're also making sure our amazing staff are looked after, because these conditions are challenging for everyone.
Our thoughts are also with the dogs living on our streets alongside their homeless owners. As always, we will be on standby to help , but we know the coming days are going to be incredibly difficult.
Even in the temperatures we've experienced today, we've already seen dogs struggling. The next few days could become life-threatening for many.
🐾 Please help us spread this message: • Walk your dog very early in the morning or late in the evening. • Never leave a dog in a car, not even for a few minutes. • Make sure they have constant access to fresh water and shade. • Avoid hot pavements, which can burn paws in seconds. • If your dog doesn't need exercise, skip the walk. A missed walk is far safer than heatstroke.
Please keep an eye out for any dog that appears to be in distress and, if you can, offer water to dogs you may see with homeless owners.
These next few days will test us all, but together we can help keep every dog as safe as possible.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Foster Sanctuary and the work we do. 🧡
