Hope is not naive when you have a vision and a movement behind it. Hope is in fact righteous.
This is the dawn of a new era in New York City. And we will win it together.
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
And they’re right.
@VP is absolutely right that the disastrous deal made with the TALIBAN was the GOP candidate. There is much that cld have been done differently & better by this admin during the US withdrawal. What is happening in Afghanistan now is an absolute shame on America

On this solemn two-year anniversary of the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan our Managing Attorney of Project: Afghan Legal Assistance, @ShalaGafary reflects: “We do this work for Afghans because Afghans represent the most vulnerable members of our global community."
Afghans are forced to seek safety any way they can, even by coming to the U.S. through the southern border via Mexico. @ShalaGafary refers to giving them parole as “a small alteration in immigration policy that can make a huge impact on their lives."
