This could be a huge turning point in this war.
Ukraine have developed a drone that has the ability to hunt and hit moving targets over 150km from the front line. But it's what they're targeting that makes this a potential game changer.
Highway R-280, which runs through the occupied Ukrainian cities of Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast, Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Simferopol in Crimea, is now in range of Ukraine's drones. The route serves as a key logistics corridor, linking mainland southern Ukraine with the occupied peninsula and is used for transporting military equipment and other supplies supporting Russian forces.
130 Russian logistics vehicles have been hit over the past month, forcing the military to ban large convoys and relocate ammo depots further away from the front.
The aim is to make it impossible for Russia to support its military in Kherson and Crimea, starving them of oil, ammo, and even food. The Kerch Bridge remains a crucial alternate route, but one that feels increasingly vulnerable to another attack.
If Ukraine is able to sustain this much pressure on Russia's supply line along the southern front for long enough, there is a genuine chance that Kherson could be retaken, maybe even Crimea.

-ChatGPT's agents did basically nothing

-Gemini's agents fell in love, burned the town down, then one voted to delete itself and its partner

Now consider this: these same models are already being integrated into autonomous drones, weapons systems, and battlefield decision-making.

Here's the problem: When Pakistan said they expected a response from Iran on Thursday, and Trump and Rubio said they expected a response from Iran on Friday, Iran knew then and there they'd take longer to respond. They sent their response to Pakistan today; we don't yet know the substance. But THEY understand negotiation.
And the problem is, Trump doesn't. We know that both sides would like to end the conflict, but Iran is intentionally frustrating Trump, even mocking him, because they understand strategy and posture better than him, and because they can. They understand that Trump's bloviations and hyperbole are empty. They understand Trump is addicted to professing his own grandiosity and they understand his transparent and desperate need to reverse the political decline of his Made for TV presidency.
Therefore, the one really major card that Iran holds is NOT the Strait of Hormuz and it's NOT the enriched uranium. It's that they know Trump, desperate for an exit, is trapped by his own uncontrollable and cartoonish ego, and they will milk it for what they can.
