During this Hajj, I ensured that I prayed for our military and every Nigerian - Muslim, Christian and others, prayed for the victims of terrorism and prayed for the abducted children and others to return safely to their families. I did all the prayers with absolute sincerity and I am certain that they will be granted. As citizens, this is what we must do for our country. It is our moral and religious responsibility. We do that while we also ask relevant questions and request that leaders deliver on their promises.

That is why a Muslim says Islam first, not because he hates his people, but because he believes that the best guarantee of justice, peace, dignity, security and human flourishing is to place the guidance of Allah above every other loyalty.
