This evening at Amahoro Stadium, President Kagame joined tens of thousands of fans for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027 Qualifiers match, as Rwanda’s national football team, Amavubi, secured a 3–1 victory over Liberia.

Rev. Dr. Antoine Rutayisire has spent his life on that harder question. He joins ASG as Professor of Practical Leadership and Management for Results, challenging students to see leadership as competence, character, and a responsibility to create meaningful change.

This afternoon in Salalah, President Kagame begins a two-day official visit, where he was welcomed by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq at Al Husn Palace. President Kagame and His Majesty the Sultan held bilateral talks with their respective delegations, aimed at advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

What happens when leaders bring different ideas of leadership together and put them to the test?

Across two Executive Education programmes, 51 students from 19 African countries challenged and reshaped their perspectives on what it takes to lead in a changing world.

As graduate Davy Nkurunziza reflected, “we arrived as strangers with our own versions of leadership. We leave as a cohort that has actually pressure tested those versions against each other and we came out on the other side sharper from it.”

The graduating cohort leaves with stronger connections and a deeper understanding of what it means to lead.
