Using Kenya as a quarantine buffer zone to keep Ebola risks away from American soil is a double standard.
Bundibugyo strain has no licensed vaccine, no specific therapeutics. Safety matters!!! #Ebola
The incident in Ganze Kilifi is a textbook exposee of both visual and structural blindspots of a presidential security breach.

Mikel Arteta on Max Dowman: "It was a great moment, especially with the way the goal built up. We had 10 or 15 seconds to really enjoy what was about to happen.
"It was magical, all the bench and players together jumping up with the crowd, it was a beautiful day.
"He changed the game every time he got the ball. He made things happen and we looked like more of a threat. To do it at that age, in this context, with the pressure and expectations to win the game, it's just not normal."

@ChineseEmbKenya Empowerment is to do something on the progression of women. And not having a huge number of women in parliament, but very few of them have significant power. The key positions are nearly always held by men.

In Ghana, the vast majority of victims of witchcraft accusations and their devastating effects are older women.
There is still no law criminalizing such accusations in Ghana.

Being a woman in Kenya shouldn’t be a death sentence.
Femicide is a national crisis. More than 500 women were killed between 2020 and 2023, with at least 12 murdered every month. Nearly half of these cases involved husbands, partners, or people they knew.
Yet, only 1 in 10 cases leads to a conviction, meaning most killers walk free. Survivors of violence also face obstacles from costly legal fees to delayed justice and too few safe shelters.
The government has set up a special police unit and allocated KES 100 million for GBV programs, but without stronger enforcement and survivor support, these efforts fall short.
Protecting women’s lives shouldn’t be up for debate—justice must be swift, and safety must be a priority.
