I reached a bipartisan agreement with the man who robbed my house. I only gave half of my belongings, staving off certain financial ruin had he taken my entire house.
IMO, I'd be careful not to be so flippant about the statement.
He's running to be commander and chief and it's best to treat his pledge not as a politician's promise but instead as a military directive.
He'd do everything in his power to achieve it. As POTUS, that's a lot.
Work requirements for these benefits do not work. This is not an issue of politics, it is studied and settled fact. They just don't work. It's bad and evil policy making with no justification beyond classism and racism.
