It’s a sign of the downfall of civility when Grok 4.1 showcases growing emotional intelligence while humans are losing it like they were hit by a virus that kills empathy. Social media validation loops combined with poor parenting (refusal to hold accountable, everyone’s a winner), swiping culture and pop psych have eroded empathy in increasingly selfish generations. Basically a freaking computer can now fake empathy better than a mirroring psychopath. Subjective, human-only prizes of art and beauty are next, then humans become nothing more than primates who mastered fire.
