ACTION ON FUEL SECURITY NEEDED
Australia is reliant on global markets for fuel and has a severe fuel security issue.
The policies our governments make, significantly affects what you pay at the petrol bowser.
Both Governments must implement policies that refines our own fuel.

Had to call in to see Anthony Trimarchi's Tolga Sunflower Farm for myself and was not disappointed.
The Sunflowers are attracting people from across the state and region and has become a popular tourist attraction.

Parliament sitting weeks are full-on, however, it was great to be able to take a moment to celebrate the inclusion of the Redcliffe Dolphins as the 17th team into the NRL competition.
As a proud Redcliffe old boy, having played 97 A-grade games for the club, congratulations.
After many years of lobbying alongside Better Together (aka Community Services Tablelands) the $4.2M Atherton Community Centre has been given the green light following the announcement of combined funding from both the State and Federal Government and Better Together.
I was very excited to be a part of the official opening of the Radcare Villas at Ravenshoe today which provides affordable housing for our elderly.

Thankfully, we only sustained a few minor injuries and after the match, we thanked the students for going easy on us.

It's budget time this week. We are calling on the Government to ensure there is balanced funding delivered to rural and regional Queensland.

On behalf of the region, I tabled my Stop Youth Crime Petition in Parliament this week, which secured near 5000 signatures.
The government has already adopted 1 of the recommendations from the petition, and I will continue to push further to get action to combat juvenile crime.
