KAP has continually pushed for relocation sentencing as an option for magistrates to send repeat youth offenders to remote locations to learn the skills they need to break the crime cycle.
It is clearly evident the Labor Governments current youth justice laws are a dismal failure

I enjoyed attending the launch of the Mission Beach Historical Society interactive website and viewing all the wonderful aspects of Mission Beach and its region.

I attended the 2022 National Rugby League (NRL) season launch at Parliament House today.

It was great to catch up with my former Dolphin’s teammate and current group CEO Spud Murphy and also Terry Reader, CEO of the new NRL Dolphins franchise.

ACTION ON FUEL SECURITY NEEDED

Australia is reliant on global markets for fuel and has a severe fuel security issue.
The policies our governments make, significantly affects what you pay at the petrol bowser.
Both Governments must implement policies that refines our own fuel.

For 30 years there has been a massive push for a much needed super-fast transport highway from Cairns to the Northern Tablelands. With the Kuranda Range Rd closing 44 times a year, averaging 6.6 hours per closure and a collapsing bridge we are shocked by the Government’s report

The Government’s push to implement a segregation policy will ban the unvaccinated from almost every facet of life.

Had to call in to see Anthony Trimarchi's Tolga Sunflower Farm for myself and was not disappointed.

The Sunflowers are attracting people from across the state and region and has become a popular tourist attraction.

Parliament sitting weeks are full-on, however, it was great to be able to take a moment to celebrate the inclusion of the Redcliffe Dolphins as the 17th team into the NRL competition.
As a proud Redcliffe old boy, having played 97 A-grade games for the club, congratulations.

After many years of lobbying alongside Better Together (aka Community Services Tablelands) the $4.2M Atherton Community Centre has been given the green light following the announcement of combined funding from both the State and Federal Government and Better Together.

@RealBobKatter and I are at the Malanda Show and our first stop was the dodgem cars, where we came up against the Malanda State High School team.
Thankfully, we only sustained a few minor injuries and after the match, we thanked the students for going easy on us.

It's budget time this week. We are calling on the Government to ensure there is balanced funding delivered to rural and regional Queensland.

On behalf of the region, I tabled my Stop Youth Crime Petition in Parliament this week, which secured near 5000 signatures.
The government has already adopted 1 of the recommendations from the petition, and I will continue to push further to get action to combat juvenile crime.
