Never underestimate the power of accumulation.

Never underestimate the power of numbers.

If you have a business where your product is too expensive for the average consumer, you may have fewer customers. Unless your margins are high enough to compensate, accumulating serious wealth from that business can become difficult.

But there is another business model that fascinates me:

Make a relatively small amount of money from millions of people. The profit from one customer may look insignificant, when you multiply that little amount by millions of customers, repeatedly, and suddenly you understand the power of numbers.

Let’s study a fraction of how MTN Nigeria does it. MTN currently has over 77M subscribers, with as little as ₦100, you can currently buy 110MB of data valid for 24 hours. Not only data, people are using its fintech and digital services too.

Investing in MTNN is part of my business and this is how I look at my own investment in MTNN.

I don’t underestimate the ₦5k, ₦10k or the ₦20k. Every share I accumulate increases my ownership of the business, with every dividend I get, I reinvest to buy more shares. Those additional shares are potentially producing more dividends. Then those dividends buy even more shares.

You don’t always need one big amount of money to reach your financial destination, if you don’t have the amount, don’t over work yourself. Sometimes you need small amounts, good assets, consistency and a lot of patience to grow your wealth.

Never underestimate the power of accumulating**, numbers become powerful when you give them time to multiply.**

On a more serious note, if you give your wife random money to spend on herself, and she doesn't spend part of it on the kids or even sometimes on you, it doesn't show that she's selfless and kind.

I recall one time, my wife prepared a sweet meal for me many years ago. To appreciate her, I gave her 15k to treat herself.

This woman used the money to buy study tables, and a board for the children.

I had to send her another 15k.

Now, your wife is not my wife.

But I am old and experienced enough to know a woman that will make a good wife, despite her imperfections.

Some other wives might have used the money to buy shawarma or something materialistic just to satisfy their greed. But my wife showed me that, in my kindness, she is also a kind wife and mother.

I am telling you these things, not because I want to brag, but because I have seen the grace of God in marriage.

And I strongly believe that I am not the only man who is married to a woman like my lovely wife.

There are thousands of men married to women like her.

So my wife is nit really an exception.
