It's DCC 8 release day, which brings me unspeakable amounts of joy. Normal people get this excited for TV series, but no, I'm amped about an audio book. I have no idea who Ive become.
Anyone could have (should have) done it (sooner? Maybe?) but it had to be Taylor. The Prophecy was written [and that's what the capital A fans are glossing]. I've gone full tinfoil hat about this, no one wants to hear it, so I'll just sit back and enjoy the show.
It's almost that time of year when my wife sits next to me on the sofa and glances at me like I'm a piece of shit. Because of what Alan Rickman did to Emma Thompson in a fictional film, released over 20 years ago.
midnights is for gay autistic witches. if you’re not a gay autistic witch you probably didn’t understand her right away but me? it was love at first listen
The idea that in this day and age any woman, wealthy celebrity or otherwise, "just wants a ring" is insane to me. Grow up, buy your own damn jewelry.
Now, you "just want health insurance" and "they've got a pension"... Are all understandable reasons for legal marriage.
@hauntslashbex My local bartender, liberal and of same mind most of the time, asked me why I cared to "celebrate" today. It's the day my wife said Yes, and I still believe in liberty and justice for all, even if fascists disagree. They can leave, I live here.
I can't explain it, but People And Things really slaps at 37. (It slapped at 25 too, but I'm sitting on Metro North one song away from crying so something in me has shifted.)
Intentionally called myself Daddy at work today, as I have a lot of staff with poor father relations, and I'm their Dad now.
But accidentally called myself Daddy in front of the owner's *actual* son....
So anyway, happy Father's Day to me, and my boss, I guess.
