Grand National day.
For us that live and breathe horse racing, this day can be an emotional roller coaster. Excitement, nerves, elation, upset, frustration, relief.
In amongst all of it, don't forget one key truth. The annual naysayers will fire their shots at our sport in pursuit of cheap publicity again, but by tomorrow morning the vast majority of them will have moved on to something else until next year.
We'll still be here, caring for and loving our horses and our sport.
Take a breath. Direct them to the facts (https://t.co/DBpRsqNhtw). Don't let them wind you up.
We've got this.

Thank you so much everyone that came to our Owners Open Day this morning at The Croft Farm. It was great to show off the new yard to everyone and to see so many familiar faces.
Thank you to everyone that supplied cakes etc and to Oboe Fine Wine of Eydon for supplying the wine.
We are settling in nicely to our new base at Croft Farm, here’s the horses using both of the main gallops this morning. We are lucky to have the deep sand and carpet round gallops
Scary day yesterday with the fields surrounding us catching fire. A big thank you to all the firemen and farmers that rushed to our aid and to the girls for getting all horses, humans and dogs to safety.
Nice to get a winner for @sedmundsracing whose horses are in great form. It was also my 200th winner on the track so a great day all round. @BangorRaces@FakenhamClub
@EKBG_26@PETAUK The fact of it all is you started that by calling me a goof now I’m not about to sit here and allow you to call me a little bitch no doubt you are older than me so how about this get yourself out of the comments and block me if you don’t like my opinions
That deserve an unfollow. Coming from someone who represents Boxing. Could say the same about some of the fighters. Misinformed, please come and investigate as you have great influence 😞
Fair to say that what happened before the #GrandNational2023 is beyond a joke they claim to be animal lovers but don’t give a second thought to what they are actually doing by delaying the race causing the horses more stress than necessary
