We then visited Sneyd Ward which is a 20 bed ward that provides specialist and coordinated rehabilitation to adults following a stroke - rehabilitating and supporting patients on their journey to independence
We finished our afternoon by visiting the team on Jackfield Ward to learn about the pilot they were undertaking to improve care planning and to learn of the multi disciplinary approach to care

During my visit I saw engaged staff passionate and professional in delivering high standards always putting the patient at the heart of everything they were doing. Safety featured prominently and I saw many examples of sophisticated staff working in real partnership

Today will mark my last shift before I go on to Maternity Leave for 1 year to have my 1st baby. Emotional to say the least but, very very excited for the beginning of my own little family. Life is truly amazing ❤️
