Following at least one ridiculous 66/1 Supreme antepost a season into the Class 5s - past stars include Shanroe and Makitorix, this season featuring Hoi Polloi

A look at the fragility of Altior, Chacun Pour Soi and Defi Du Seuil and the case for a slow boiling antepost
@LTRacing_ It’s purely because of the price paid, don’t know if it’s jealousy or what but it’s an unbelievable Supreme and even if he doesn’t win it they’re all going to be brilliant horses
@HawkWing2002 Anyway I hope it’s a cracking race and it would be nice to see RV go close - for sentiment’s sake I hope it comes down to Kettle and Politologue battling up the hill with the mare getting another Cheltenham win under her belt but if not that’s racing!
@HawkWing2002 Fair play, fully respect your view, I just wonder how many times she must do it on the big occasion before people give her some credit - she should be a superstar in the game but is still overlooked. I think Rouge Vif is a cracking horse but not sure Cheltenham G1s are his bag!
@HawkWing2002 I just think she is disrespected - yes Shishkin on paper appears far better than her but she loves a fight up that hill and he’ll have a battle on. More taking issue with the Rouge Vif tip when she has smashed him twice over C&D
Min retiring makes me more sad than it should - his Ryanair win, finally getting that Cheltenham prize, stands out as one of my favourite moments from the last few years. Truly gutsy and talented horse who didn’t get the appreciation he deserved
Today is the day my friends - SHANROE runs in the Ebor off bottom weight at 20/1. If you wanted a fairytale ending to this whirlwind story, look no further
Happy retirement to Douvan and Faugheen, two of the horses that got me hooked on racing - being at DRF to see Faugheen win for the last time will stay with me forever
The big fourfold (which became a treble with Happy Diva running in the plate) strikes off the back of my November piece (and unfortunately only piece this season due to work commitments) tipping Put The Kettle On...
One of my favourite parts about Cheltenham is a huge odds EW 4fold - nothing less than 10/1 and at least 2 horses at 20/1+
My thinking at the moment is:
- Flooring Porter (SH): 12s
- Put The Kettle On (CC): 12s
- Happy Diva (MC): 20s
- Make Me A Believer (Ballymore): 33s
