Juneteenth is the most ignorant holiday. Slavery had ended in the South but it was still legal in Kentucky, New Jersey, and Deleware.

Northern companies still benefitted from and owned slaves they were just located in the Caribbean. This was because that war was never anout slavery. No attempt was even made before the war to abolish it. In fact the North introduced a constitutional amendment protecting it and had the votes to ratify it. But in order to vote on it states would need to remain in the Union. The South seceded anyway because slavery was never why they left.

Durring the war the first attempt to pass what's now the 13th amendment failed because northetn states either abstained or voted against it! Some Northern states voted against it again when it did finally pass showng they too were never fighting to end slavery.

It was the 13th amendment that finally ended slavery in Dec 1865, yet New Jersey held out until January 1866. So really we should have Janteenth.

The black slaves were replaced by free prison labor and the coolie trade rebranded as chinese immigrants who all happened to work on the building the Northern railroads, just like the African prisoner chain gangs. And in going west the Yankees committed genocide on the Indians.

The main reason ending slavery was supported was because white people didnt want to live among blacks in the new western territories. Before being shot Lincoln had stated

"bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races." He remarked: "I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will for ever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality"

And when he set free slaves in DC he offered then money to resettle outside the country.

Lincoln had also explicitly stated: "The whole nation is interested that the best use shall be made of these territories. We want them for homes of free white people. This they cannot be, to any considerable extent, if slavery be planted within them." -Peoria Speech 1854

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇫🇷 The symbolism of the memorandum of understanding being signed at the Palace of Versailles is extraordinary.

Versailles represents the fall of monarchy, the rise of revolution, Napoleon’s empire, and later the Treaty of Versailles, the settlement that laid the foundations for the economic and political instability that eventually culminated in World War II.

There has always been a struggle between monetary sovereignty and transnational financial power.

I view Napoleon as part of that story. In my view, the sale of Louisiana to the US reflected a preference for raising capital through state assets rather than becoming dependent upon the powerful banking interests that were emerging across Europe, including the Rothschild banking dynasty.

Likewise, I see the post-Versailles order as creating an unsustainable debt-based system.

The reparations regime eventually led to the creation of the Bank for International Settlements, while the economic pressures imposed on Germany contributed to the conditions that enabled the rise of National Socialism in Germany.

Louis Nathaniel de Rothschild was arrested by the Nazis following the Anschluss.

My interpretation is that this reflected a broader conflict between the Nazi state’s vision of monetary sovereignty and established international financial interests.

I view Hitler’s economic program as an attempt to replace dependence on international finance with a non-usuary labor backed currency, and alternative monetary policy.

While history rightly judges National Socialism by its catastrophic crimes, I believe its economic model cannot be understood without examining its monetary policies alongside its political ideology.

My analysis of Iran follows a similar lens.

The Iranian Revolution rejected integration into the Western financial-industrial complex.

Yet in doing so, Iran became embedded within a regional security architecture that strengthened the military-industrial complex and decades of perpetual conflict.

What makes this moment different is that it may represent a transition from MIC confrontation toward FIC reintegration.

Not a return to the old Western-led order, but integration into a multipolar system increasingly shaped by China, BRICS, regional trade corridors, and alternative settlement networks.

The irony of signing this memorandum at Versailles is hard to miss.
