@TLRailUK hi! I made a mistake booking yesterday and accidentally booked one outbound open return on Saturday but i meant to both for Sunday, could you help me switch the dates please? Thank you
@adjwilson Interesting. I've lived in Australia and in France for a few years, so to me, this "my country is especially bad" stuff is just a global theme. But maybe the UK, France and Australia are just especially bad lol.
@adjwilson I think we agree. I wonder why it's big with the youngens especially now? I'd imagine just a random gust of tiktok algorithm wind.
The tinfoil-wearer in me might even start to wonder if tiktok might favour soft messages that encourage western destabilisation.
@adjwilson Because moving to Italy will help you avoid economic, social and political problems(!)
You just know there's a tiktoker of every nationality going on about how "particularly fucked" their country is.
@VillaVitorious @_TagForce_ @Johux21 @TfL@theJeremyVine I live in London and absolutely nobody follows the highway code here haha. This guy's obsession with it isn't only futile but he's got the added bonus of being wrong about it lol.
@_TagForce_ @Johux21 @TfL@theJeremyVine The bus had room to overtake in a whole lane of its own, so Jeremy followed the law. While the bus driver passed very dangerously, breaking rule 163:
"Overtake only when it is safe and legal to do so. You should not get too close to the vehicle you intend to overtake"
@_TagForce_ @Johux21 @TfL@theJeremyVine No, this is the pertinent part of rule 72. Which he obeyed.
"2) When riding on busy roads, with vehicles moving faster than you, allow them to overtake ... whilst keeping at least 0.5 metres away, and further where it is safer, from the kerb edge."
@_thecopywriter After getting over what I'd managed to do with my life, he'd probably go "Well if you managed all that, why don't you aim for what you really want?" I'd know what he means.
