Seems to be a fair few people struggling on the #footballindex atm, I've turned £1000 into £6500 in the last 11 months. Here s a little youtube vid of my strategy & 2 players to consider. Let me know what you think https://t.co/MqaPil1nxf
@hfc_ben It’s sport, it’s brutal & JC is a nice guy but we blew the playoffs last year and have started the season poorly.
A lot of it has to come down to who’s been pushing to recruit players with bad injury records, who’ve surprisingly got injured
@Landofiadornme@cem_uk_@williambailey30 I don't really have an issue on child benefit. I don't think people are paid too little. I think we're taxed too much. 55% tax on fuel is a pisstake, tax thresholds not moved in years
@Landofiadornme@cem_uk_@williambailey30 Minimum wage increases every year and 2 adults working full time would have a household income of £45k. There’s no reason they’d need to be on UC
@livelifelove83@Atomheart1972@lukerobertblack As a country we’re paying out more in benefits than we can afford. So we’re all being taxed to the hilt on everything to pay for it.
It’s why the gov. haven’t stepped in to halt fuel rises, they can’t afford to without borrowing more.
@lukerobertblack@TisDeanoPVFC But 40% still live at home at 25.
There’s no doubting that it’s very difficult to move out on your own but as people are moving out later I don’t think saving is emphasised enough.
Full time MW is £20k net, living at home that’s a lot of disposable income.
@Mikeg71729766@londonHenryGB How could this be enforced? Yes, they'll be moving money to low CT jurisdictions but they're a global company and will have costs for the UK business from abroad. The manpower it would take to enforce it would be financially huge
@sindysees14804 @TCrews9831892@lazy247365@PeterStefanovi2 The problem is some people genuinely need a lot of work. It’s so much harder to do that if they’re at home.
The flip side is that if you’re good at your job and wfh works for you and your productivity then it’s great
@TCrews9831892@lazy247365@PeterStefanovi2 Naa I think if you’re saving 2 hours a day on a commute that people should work 45 hours a week.
That would give you a 20% pay increase (compared to 37.5 hour week) and you’re still an hour a day better off.
@Frenchy897@TCrews9831892@lazy247365@PeterStefanovi2 But it depends if the company allows that.
If the office hours are 9-5, work should be done then and you shouldn’t be out at the gym/doing school runs etc (lunch breaks aside)
