Mehboob Alam, a man responsible for killing people, has been set free by the High Court in Birgunj, Nepal.
This is not justice — this is political protection in the name of law.
Nepal’s judiciary is being misused.

[सुभाष सुबेदी @SharmaXavi]

Mehboob Alam killed people — yet he walks free. This is a shamefully biased decision by the High Court, Birgunj.
This is what happens when you put your own people in the court instead of good people.
Nepal’s justice system is failing.

Nepal’s future depends on independent, qualified economic leadership—not political loyalists. We call for greater scrutiny and international dialogue to ensure public institutions serve the people, not parties. #Nepal #Democracy #Transparency”

Concerned about recent leadership appointments in Nepal’s economic institutions. Political influence must not override merit and integrity. Urging @WorldBank, @IMFNews, @OECD, @WEF, @ADB_HQ, @UNDP, @anticorruption, @ITUCglobal, @giz_gmbh, @TI_Nepal to take note.#Nepal #Governance
