A Pashtun by birth, bt I proudly claim tht Persian/dari is the very first language we learnt through our maternal granny who was from Kabul, we grew up listening to her speak and sing in dari.
I literally enjoy speaking Persian wd my mother and siblings. #Persianthelangaugeof♥️
Today people from all walks of life of life in Quetta gathered and shared their solidarity with doctor mahnoor and her family..

So condemning terrorism and questioning state’s failure to provide security to citizens against terroism is considered crime?
If advocating dual nationality is considered an offence, then military and civil bureaucrats with dual nationality should also be held accountable.
When the Deep State leans on Drug dealers criminals and shady proxies to file FIRs, it exposes the decay of the system itself. You can manufacture cases and use pressure tactics, but you cannot silence political truth forever.

I also stand in solidarity with Mahrang Baloch and all Baloch activists detained alongside her, and remember @ImaanZHazir , Hadi Ali Chatta, and every lawyer, journalist, activist, student, and human rights defender facing repression for speaking the truth.

Also, many cases of rape in Balochistan go unreported. Victims often choose silence because they fear being killed by their own families in the name of honour.
So many girls used to come to my chamber to discuss their cases. When I advised them to lodge an FIR or initiate legal proceedings, they would say, If our families find out, they will kill us. Some literally requested me to call the perpetrators and somehow pressure them or even request them to marry the victim.
When I was explaining them my limitations as a lawyer ,that I could neither threaten anyone nor ask a rapist to marry the survivor, they would quietly and helplessly return home, without ever speaking publicly or filing an FIR.
Despite the fact that a huge number of such cases remain unreported, I am still relieved that Balochistan has around a 12% conviction rate in reported rape cases.
Demolishing homes of poor residents in Islamabad, displacing 1000s in KP, disappearing & extrajudicially killing in Balochistan, imprisoning those who dissent...the Pakistani state's image as a global peacemaker falls apart the moment one looks at its behaviour in its own home.
i love how women no longer marry for financial security or material thing but just on the basis of a man's character and men are really failing miserably
For a brief moment, it felt like justice had remembered Ali Wazir. After years of imprisonment, the news of his release brought relief to those who have watched him endure punishment simply for speaking for his people.
But within hours, he was arrested again by Sukkur Police. The state is exposing its own pathetic system where court orders can be undone the moment they disturb those who hold real power.
Ali Wazir has faced prison after prison and case after case, yet he has not been broken. If anything, his repeated re-arrests reveal something more telling: the authorities fear him far more than he fears them. Because a man who refuses to be silenced is far more dangerous to power than any accusation they place against him.
I march for Pashtun/Afghan women on both sides of the Durand line, who have been displaced by the ongoing Pak-Afghan war.
These oppressed yet brave women, are at the same time, resisting Talib and patriarchy.
