So this happened! I was asked to appear on ABC’s @Nightline to talk about the subject of my film Apartners — “living apart together” relationships. Happy to get the word out that options exist for healthy relationships! https://t.co/O2pgvB6EXJ
@HistorianUSA1 2/2 these relationships and show that healthy options exist, for many this way has saved their marriages. Our group has thousands of members from all across the globe, come join us! It’s called Apartners (Living Apart Together).
@HistorianUSA1 1/2 I’ve been in a “living apart together” relationship for 27 years and run the largest LAT Facebook group in the world. My “apartner” and I are completely devoted to one another. but we have found that for us it is the best way. My aim is to normalize and destigmatize (cont)
@Aaron_Derfel@cychickmargot There is a hybrid option too. I have used a service where the nurse comes to your home, draws your blood and brings the samples to the hospital where they are analyzed. This way one pays just for the nurse call, not for the laboratory costs, which are astronomical.
@BookerGWash Thank you so much for sharing. It pains me to no end that people don’t know the history of our communities and how we supported one another. And bear in mind most Jews arrived in America penniless, fleeing pogroms or the Holocaust, and comprise less than 2% of the population.
@Wade_Hampton_V@IceCreamMang@WellsJorda89710 He said Black Jews OR mixed marriages. And almost 1 in 10 Jewish American adults identify as Black, multiracial, or another single ethnicity/race other than White. Source: Pew Research
