It’s Fordfest day in Milton.

As @fordnation gives out free hotdogs to his loyal supporters 9404 people died waiting for imaging in 2023. Up 27%

Ford just announced millions of dollars being pushed to the private sector while our hospitals don’t have MRI machines.

Protest anywhere you want in Ontario, but not at #FordFest

[Caryma Sa'd - Lawyer + Political Satirist @CarymaRules]

As soon as Premier Doug Ford took the stage, a pair of protesters unfurled their banner in silent demonstration:

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐎𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨
𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐬
𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥

They were promptly escorted off the private venue.

Happening now: Working people and community united at the entrance of #FordFest to say we don’t want hot dogs we want a fully funded healthcare, education and public services.

Thanks for nothing @fordnation!

"'We're going to go through the environmental assessment and at the end of the environmental assessment, a decision will be made,' Ford said"

Why is Doug Ford backtracking on his promise to cancel the proposed Quarry? He needs to cancel it and he needs to cancel it now!

[Bonnie Crombie 🇨🇦 @BonnieCrombie]

The Walkerton water crisis showed us just how important it is to protect Ontario’s water supply.

Yet today, the Ford Conservatives denied a motion calling on the government to preserve free well water testing at local public health labs.

Doug Ford must reverse course. #onpoli

Thank you for your support Mike. @zeeinmilton

[Mike Schreiner @MikeSchreiner]

I joined Action Milton to tell Doug Ford to keep his promise and cancel the Cambellville Quarry.

Citizens shouldn't have to spend millions on lawyers to stop a health and environmental disaster.
