@ThomasWatsonCD I was really touched by this moment. I’m proud to be Canadian and live in a country where civility reigns - maybe not always, but when it really matters, we pull through and stand together. ❤️
🟥 We’re learning in the last couple of hours or so, that last week the Liberal Government signed an MOU with South Korea that is going to pave the way to discussions around a massive, new trade partnership for our auto industry... 🚗🚗
Listen, we’re not going to sit still like a deer in the headlights ... which is what Trump was hoping for when he began his tariff war and sustained attack on our economy.
NO.
We’re Canada. 🍁
We’ll diversify our products, and our trade partners.
We’ll seek new markets and new investments.
We’ll innovate.
We'll build a new economy.
We’ll build new industries together with reliable partners.
We’ll turn the chaos thrown at us, into music.
You should expect us. 🇨🇦 ✅
Here are the names of the 158 Canadian Armed Forces members who lost their lives in Afghanistan following the invocation of Article 5 of the NATO Charter by the United States after the September 11 attacks.
I honour the 158 Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan. They didn’t “stay a little back, a little off the front lines.” Their familes have a folded Canadian flag and lifetime of sorrow because Canada showed up when America called.
@dan_vanman@DhaliwalSports So true. Oilers are a good example of this. You wonder how they can’t have a cup with McD and Drai, but the whole team is what wins the games at the end of the day.
@RonYamauchi@brookwardsports I wish they’d let him start playing now. They’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain by getting him the experience. We need more Canadian players on the ice ❤️
