Perry is finally safe, but her battle is far from over. 💔

When we first saw her hiding in that abandoned school toilet, her eyes looked painfully red. We feared she was unwell, and sadly we were right.

Perry arrived with a very high temperature and is still too frightened to eat properly. She remains terrified, but our team is surrounding her with patience, kindness, and love. We know that, in time, she will learn that she is finally safe.

She is currently receiving treatment and supportive care, while her puppies are safe beside her. Once she is strong enough, she will also need sterilisation so she never has to endure this struggle again.

Could someone please sponsor Perry’s treatment or her future sterilisation? Every rescue comes with medical costs, and we desperately need help to keep saying yes to animals like her.

This is the inspiring story of Elliot — a dog who was cruelly mutilated, with the bottoms of all four of his legs and his tail cut off. Many people thought he would not survive, but Elliot chose to fight 💖✨

After enduring so much pain, countless challenges, and setbacks, Elliot learned how to walk again with his special prosthetic legs. Today, he lives happily with a pack of other dogs who are also “warriors” that have survived their own hardships.

This video is incredibly emotional and inspiring! Elliot is a living example of the saying, “Nothing is impossible.” No matter how cruelly he was treated, he still chose to live and be happy.

Throughout her career with Avon and Somerset Police, Bali helped locate missing people, recover evidence and assist in the arrest of offenders.

One of the highlights of her service came in 2021 when she was awarded the PCC Shield Award for the Most Outstanding Dog Action of the Year.

The award recognised her actions on the night of 21 March 2021, when she helped prevent Bridewell Police Station from being overrun during the Bristol riots.

Police dogs like Bali spend years protecting officers and the public, often placing themselves in challenging and dangerous situations.

Behind every retired police dog is a remarkable story of service, loyalty and dedication.
