SPECIAL GUEST JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT 💛🌿
@SharpShotEfx is a passion project Sean has been working on since senior year of high school as a school assignment. Originally, they had envisioned it as a series of makeup tutorial videos in an episodic format, however in recent years they’ve decided to shift from the makeup video format to focus on cosplay; their true passion overall.
Sean has been cosplaying and creating for years now. Their first foray into costume work was Halloween 2009, where they set about making a Godzilla costume for themself using old Halloween costumes, rubber masks, stuffed animals, scrap fabrics, and lots of tape.
Next year is where things really kicked off– their family was planning to go to the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert Rally to Restore Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive in Washington DC, and since it was held a few days before Halloween that year, them and their dad got to work on designing their own proton pack and other pieces of equipment so Sean could become a Ghostbuster.
Those two projects ignited their passion for costuming, and over ten years later, they have done nearly 100+ costumes and counting.
