@krishashok Thanks for debunking this garbage!
Side note: Also thanks for sharing such gems, because the comments on the original post don’t disappoint!
That is not “direct poison”. It’s the egg’s membrane. In fact, there are 2 membranes - one that is attached to the inside of the shell and one wrapped around the egg white. It offers additional protection against microbial attack in case there is a crack in the shell.
Fun fact: it’s not only edible, it’s made of collagen, and many collagen supplements are made from this membrane.
Even more fun fact: in very fresh eggs, the membrane sticks to the egg white and is harder to remove. As the egg gets older, the membrane is easier to remove from the boiled egg.
The egg is one of nature’s most accomplished works. A single, self-contained marvel, packed with every protein the body craves, brimming with vitamins and fats laid down to nourish new life. And yet, in the modern poultry farming context, IT IS PURELY VEGETARIAN because an unfertilised egg hosts no life, just the raw material to nourish it. Cracked into a hot pan, it firms into culinary gold. Whipped, it rises into airy clouds. Coddled, poached, folded into the silkiest of custards, or scrambled into bhurji, it bends endlessly to the cook’s will. Few things on this Earth give so generously, in so many guises. This, surely, is perfection in miniature. The greatest single ingredient in the kitchen.
Please feel free to fight in the comments
Eggs are PURE VEGETARIAN
They should be all-day, all-meal and all-class.
Make eggs a universal side dish like raita or pickle. Pickle for flavour, raita for gut health and eggs for protein.
India has a strange blind spot when it comes to eggs. For starters, we have, against all common sense, declared it non-veg, which automatically comes attached with moral baggage, and then on top of that, even in families that eat meat, the idiotic idea that eggs are “heating” (taseer) reduces its daily/weekly consumption.
Yes, the people who call themselves 'trans' exist and they deserve exactly the same rights as everyone else, which, fortunately, they already have in the UK. It would rightly be considered discrimination if a person was refused employment, housing or the vote because they identified as trans.
'Trans women are women' is a thought-terminating cliché. Men are not women. That doesn't mean they're not allowed to present themselves however they like, call themselves whatever they like and believe whatever they like about themselves. It means they haven't changed sex.
If we replace the objective, observable characteristic of sex with the unfalsifiable concept of gender identify, women and girls lose, among other things, their right to fair and safe sport and women-only spaces, including changing rooms, prison cells and rape crisis services.
Women and girls are provably more vulnerable to forms of abuse including sexual assault, harassment and voyeurism in mixed-sex spaces. There is no evidence that trans-identified men don't have exactly the same rates of criminal offending as all other men.
Trans people exist. I have no desire for them not to exist; indeed, I wish them safety, happiness and health. However, 'existence' does not, and should not, mean the violation of other people's right to privacy, dignity and freedom of speech, or the reconfiguration of society to indulge a fallacy.

Excellent conversation on personal finance between @monikahalan and @smitaprakash.
Superb articulation by Ms. Halan on how to keep your head regarding finances during war, and otherwise!
It’s not an either-or decision. Any finfluencer worth paying attention to will recommend a balance of debt and equity (which again is highly specific to a person’s situation). Also, no semi-decent finfluencer will recommend a specific market cap in a portfolio.
I am sad that no Fin-influencer has suggested a mid-cap SIP of 30,000 pm instead of putting it in a PPF account for 36 years.
This shows how bad is the stock market.
Some major changes in today's Sebi circular:
1. No more children's funfs & retirement funds
2. New restrictions on arbitrage funds. Can only invest in G Secs & less than 1 yr for their debt portion
3. Overlap between funds > 50% disallowed
4. Lifecycle funds introduced
Under 12 years: best to avoid caffeine. Pediatric guidance advises against caffeine in this age group.
Ages 12–18: if they do use caffeine, most pediatric guidance suggests keeping it ≤100 mg/day (roughly a small cup of coffee = 150ml as per NIN Indian Guidelines)
The irony in my OPD today was painful.
I am sitting in my chair, wrapped in a muffler.
Nose blocked, throat on fire, fever spikes.
My self treatment? PCM, Warm water & Nasal Saline drops.
In walks a patient. His symptoms are much milder than mine.
Yet, he is already taking:
Azithromycin
Montelukast + Levocetrizine
Pantoprazole
Deflazacort
Cough Syrup
Xylometazoline nasal drops
He bangs the table:
"Doctor, I'm taking all this but not cured! It’s been 2 days. Give me something stronger!"
I wanted to scream:
I am sicker than you, and I am running on water and Paracetamol. You are taking a chemical soup for a VIRUS.
But I just adjusted my mask, took a sip of hot water, and started counseling.
The sad reality?
We will BOTH recover in the next 3 days.
The only difference is, I didn't expose my body to a pharmacy to get there.
This is pretty much a stupid service, not to mention dangerous.
A physician has diagnosed fungal infection through a phone call and given a prescription for antibiotics (Azithromycin) for a viral cold.
This looks like a paid promotion for this useless service. If you need a proper diagnosis and treatment, please visit a doctor.
Don't order a doctor through Blinkit. Whoever thought of this, please stop this bullshit service. It reduces the realistic value of healthcare service in this country.
Can we Blinkit a lawyer or a police officer? Why not extend these services to them also? Why is it that these entrepreneurial clowns decide healthcare is always the place to make things worse?
Utterly ridiculous.
It is our duty to teach children right from wrong.
These days no one does bad.
They just ‘have needs’.
We should be ashamed of ourselves. 🙄
Threatening suicide on behalf of yourself or others in order to coerce someone to give in to your demands is textbook abuse. It is not the job of the entirety of society to placate the feelings of those who cannot manage their own.
@santanu68 @Psykho12345@aaraynsh Can absolutely relate to this. Tried out their headphones a few years ago. One side didn’t work right from the start. Thankfully I had ordered it from Amazon and could return it. Went with JBL instead.
