1. This is the Saurabh Das, who is the chief spokesperson of CJP, and someone you are not unfamiliar with.
2. This is the Saurabh Das who praises Umar Khalid, calls him "brave," and says that Umar Khalid spent five years in jail on baseless charges. He also describes this as a permanent blot on the Indian judiciary.
3. Now, let me tell you who Umar Khalid is.
4. Umar Khalid is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail.
Umar Khalid is often described by his critics as a leader of the so-called "Tukde-Tukde Gang," and it has been alleged that on 9 February 2016, the following slogans were raised at the JNU campus:
- Slogans against the Indian Army.
- Slogans against the CRPF.
- "Azaadi, Azaadi."
- "Afzal, your blood will bring a revolution."
- "Afzal, we are ashamed; your killers are still alive."
- "India will be broken into pieces, Inshallah, Inshallah."
Now let me tell you who Afzal Guru was.
Afzal Guru was a Kashmiri separatist who was convicted for his role in the conspiracy behind the 2001 terrorist attack on the Indian Parliament.
The major allegations and details of the case are as follows:
On 13 December 2001, five terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked the Indian Parliament. Eight security personnel and one gardener were martyred in the attack.
Afzal Guru was convicted on charges that he was an active member of Jaish-e-Mohammed and had provided weapons, shelter, and logistical support to the terrorists involved in the Parliament attack.
He was executed by hanging in Delhi's Tihar Jail on 9 February 2013.
It is also alleged that during the 9 February 2016 JNU event, Umar Khalid supported Afzal Guru through slogans such as:
- "Afzal, your blood will bring a revolution."
- "Afzal, we are ashamed; your killers are still alive."
I am sharing all of this so that you can understand the point I am trying to make.
Saurabh Das supports Umar Khalid, against whom allegations of the above-mentioned anti-India slogans have been made.
Now, I also want to tell you that, in my opinion, many of the people protesting at Jantar Mantar are associated with the same so-called "Tukde-Tukde Gang."
I only want to urge all of you to stay aware and think carefully.
Today, in the name of education-related issues and the NEET paper leak, ask yourselves whose voices are being heard at Jantar Mantar.
If this is truly only an education-related movement, then think carefully about what the following slogans have to do with students' issues:
- "Azaadi, Azaadi."
- "Only the name of Allah will remain."
- "Down with BJP."
- "Down with RSS."
- "Down with Modi."
- "Down with Amit Shah."
- "Down with Brahminism."
- "We will uproot Parliament."
- "We will turn India into Nepal and Bangladesh."
In my opinion, the protest at Jantar Mantar is increasingly becoming a platform for people whose mindset is anti-national, and a means of supporting such individuals.
I believe that, through the guise of this student movement, a deeper conspiracy is being carried out to weaken India and the temple of our democracy—the Parliament—and to push the country toward situations similar to those seen in Nepal and Bangladesh.
Therefore, I humbly request all of you to think, understand, and analyse the situation for yourselves. Do not become a part of any political strategy without careful consideration.
Otherwise, the future of every student and every young person may be affected.
I simply want to say: do not become anyone's pawn. Think for yourself, understand the facts, reflect carefully, and secure your own future.
Do not become a victim of political manipulation.

This generation will tell you to be empathetic, to not bully others, to be sensitive to LGBTQ people, to have sympathy for poor kids of Palestine, that mental health matters, spread love and not war...
Same people the moment they see a drenched reporter trying to do his job:
Millennials are now sandwiched between a generation that believes everything they read on WhatsApp and a generation that believes everything they see on Instagram.
Humare youth humare desh ka future hain. Unke sapnon ko samajhna zaroori hai par saath hi, mushkil waqt mein patience rakhna aur desh ki institutions aur sarkar par bharosa banaye rakhna bhi utna hi zaroori hai.
Mera maanna hai ki har challenge ka solution patience se nikalta hai. Bharat hamesha aage badha hai aur aage bhi badhta rahega. 🇮🇳
#WATCH | Delhi: ACP Vivek Bhagat says, "Yesterday, I was on duty in sector one zone one which includes the main Jantar Mantar area. I was on duty during the day and I had evening shift as well, so during the evening shift, I was going to report from Regal building which is Connaught Place, via Sansad Marg, at the red light of Tolstoy and Sansad Marg. I had a staff of five or six who were walking ahead and with me was an ACP probationer Rohit and my operator Navneet. So as we were walking ahead, we realized that water bottles were being thrown at the staff in front and hooting and anti-social slogans were being raised against the police. So as soon as our police staff moved back and forth a little there, some of them moved forward to save their lives and one of them was overpowered by the crowd. Blood was coming out of his head. His entire face was covered in blood, so I tried to intervene to rescue him from there. We even brought him a meter or two forward, but the crowd was so huge and violent. They even overpowered me. The crowd was so violent. Police officers were specifically targeted, isolating them and attacking them..."
A uniform does not make a person feel less pain.
Behind every badge is a beating heart, a family and a promise to serve.
Seeing on-duty police personnel assaulted is deeply disturbing.
Disagreement can have a voice.
Violence should never have a place.

Every generation has had a Z phase. Every generation has rebelled at the right age, filled with leftist rage.
Every generation has had people cheering them on. And every generation has had people calling them useless. Parasites.
Every generation has suffered a lathi charge. Often rubber bullets, and some were unfortunate enough to be hit by live ammo. Dead.
Every generation has had politics placate them, making them feel important.
Every generation has been promised the world. And every generation has survived betrayal.
People have immolated themselves and the government has turned a deaf ear. People have only blocked roads and the government has given in.
This baptism by fire is part of life in this unfair and lovely world. Don't fear the fire. Don't play with it either.
Don't lose hope. Don't be too high on the hype either. No matter what they tell you, you will be the world to your family and friends. And no matter what they tell you, you are not unique. Either.
Like all previous movements, the anarchists have taken over this one as well.
The nihangs brandishing swords , stone pelters, the abusive reels.
Somewhere the student is lost in all this.
Remove such people.
Hopefully sense prevails. Talk about students. Keep it peaceful.
Nothing is more important than the welfare and future of our youth!
We have decided to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks. Have directed the concerned authorities and officials to take all necessary steps in this regard. This continues our series of steps for safeguarding the interests of students.
Those who try to harm the future of our youth will not be spared.

VIDEO | Delhi: United Doctors Front (UDF) submits a representation to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking the replacement of the NTA with a statutory National Examination Authority created through an Act of Parliament.
This reiterates the organisation's earlier submissions before the Parliamentary Standing Committee as well as its pending Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court.
Chairperson, United Doctors Front, Dr Lakshya Mittal says, "The UDF has no association with any political party, whether its the ruling party BJP, or the opposition parties Congress, AAP or the Cockroach Janata Party. We are here concerned for the students of India. Every doctor, once an medical aspirant, clearly understands the years of hard work, sacrifice, emotional stress that students and their families go through. Our message is simple, don't politicise students' future, reform the system, restore trust in NEET and the education system and let merit prevail."

Violence has no place in democracy.
This goes for both sides.
Harrassing of women, whether students or news reporters, should be condemned unequivocally.
The government must address the student's concerns/their future.
Also avoid separatists in that crowd/stone pelting. #Delhi
While it’s important to support our students and ask for educational reforms that positively impact the future of our youth, it’s also very important that peaceful protests by students are Not hijacked by anti national elements to create chaos & change the nature of the protest.
Seeing so much hate & divide online makes me wonder if bad elements in & outside our country have already started to work overtime to weaponise the anger & frustration felt by our students.
I have always believed in hard work, equality and excellence & that should never be compromised. I also believe in our democracy, law and order & our government, therefore I sincerely hope that both sides enter into meaningful & constructive dialogue & weed out any nefarious elements & agendas out of this protest & conversation , so the future is bright for our youth and for our democracy ! 🇮🇳 Jai Hind !
