Today's announcement on LNG Phase II is long-delayed good news. But this project got its permit a decade ago, because of the Harper government. Bad Liberal policies delayed its construction, which has still not begun.
Over the same period, the U.S. built, not announced but built, 9 LNG terminals. Germany built an LNG import terminal in 194 days.
Instead of taking credit for work done by others long ago, Carney should explain why it took him so long to do so little.
The solution is to pre-permit shovel-ready zones. Axe the industrial carbon tax. Get government out of the way and let Canadian workers build. Now: https://t.co/FKCwB2PnNC
For what it’s worth, @PierrePoilievre is the only political leader in Canada that has openly & vocally supported Israel & Jewish Canadians, knowing full well he will lose votes. At least someone in politics has a functioning moral compass. 🇮🇱
“A Managers’ Guide To Supporting Muslim Employees produced said Muslims have five obligatory daily prayers and that as many as three can fall during a standard 9-to-5 workday.”
Nearly 1,000 prayer rooms in federal buildings?
We are talking about accommodations for roughly 2% of federal bureaucrats. This is not "diversity," it’s the state enforcing religious segregation in the workplace at taxpayer expense.
The People’s Party position is clear: The government should not be in the business of providing prayer spaces for employees. If you want to pray, do it on your own time.
And let’s be honest: opposing the creation of religious enclaves in public institutions is not "Islamophobia." It’s common sense. We need to stop prioritizing the religious practices of a minority over the neutrality of our public service.
Enough of this obsession with identity politics. Let’s put Canadians first.
Listen to all three minutes. No notes, just a mom who doesn't play about her kids.
This is the new standard for parents who care about what their kids are learning in school.
This is yet another glaring example of the incompetence of ministers like @SeanFraserMP and @gary_srp. This wasn't the result of some random traffic stop, this woman was arrested after a months long investigation.
Her actions have caused significant danger to the public and given her history, there is nothing to indicate that she wouldn't continue on while out on bail.
The cops involved in this investigation must be pulling their hair out over this Insanity.
The fundamental difference between myself and those who seem perfectly fine with our national decline is a matter of accountability.
They look at deindustrialization, rising unemployment, surging food bank usage, insolvencies, a weak dollar, and abysmal hospital wait times and see nothing wrong. For them, a measly 1% increase in an economic report is a celebration; for me, it’s an embarrassment.
They ignore that Canada has become a global outlier with MAID, expanding it to non-terminal patients (which is disturbing to say the least)… to the point where some have rejected it, found proper healthcare in America, and are alive today because of it.
The difference is simple: if this was the outcome of a government I had repeatedly voted into power, I wouldn’t defend them. I wouldn’t focus my attention on everyone except them. I’d be encouraging you to vote differently. Apparently, demanding accountability makes me “unpatriotic.”
But they only call me unpatriotic because I remember what this country used to be like, and what it still has the potential to be. I am loyal to Canada; whereas they are just patriotic to the new, diminished version of it that their chosen government created… I refuse to accept this decline as our new normal, and I refuse to quiet down.
This country is worth fighting for, and we deserve a leadership that actually serves its people. It’s really not that foreign of a concept.
How much does it matter?
How much does it matter to the US Republican administration that Carney’s chief operating officer running his office is a long-time Democrat campaigner who worked for Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton?
Keep in mind … trade negotiations have collapsed, putting millions of Canadian jobs in jeopardy
Does this Democrat-turned-PMO Chief Operating Officer have anything to do with all this?
Does Alex Soros meeting with Mark Carney in Toronto behind closed doors matter?
Does Alex Soros speaking at an event with Melanie Joly matter?
Does Hillary Clinton endorsing the Liberals matter?
All in all, does it matter that the Democrats seem to be extremely cozy with the Liberals?
Who knows … right … ? Maybe …
🤷♂️
How is it that our Prime Minister is able to give another 100 MILLION of YOUR TAX DOLLARS to Palestine and yet there has been no vote, not asking the people what they want.
He just takes our money, steals it and gives it over to places that harbours terrorism.
Perfect
Meanwhile Canadians are paying at least 41% of our income on taxes, people are dying while waiting in emergency rooms, criminals walk free 15 minutes after getting arrested, a synagogue was shot at 30 times yesterday, food banks are facing longer lines, our grocery bills are skyrocketing, jobs are disappearing inside Canada and crime rate is just going up. But yeah, let’s send another hundred mil to Gaza because Canadians can always pay more taxes and don’t need a functioning society, right? Right!
In the last 3 years in Canada…
Jihadists have been allowed to gather wherever and whenever they want.
Jew haters have been allowed to march through neighbourhoods to harass Jews.
The Liberal government blocked a motion to condemn antisemitism on college and university campuses.
Canada Revenue Agency has allowed itself to be weaponized against Jewish charities.
Anti-Jew rhetoric has been allowed to be spoken, to be screamed, to be taught, to be normalized.
The Canadian government has earned the gratitude and thanks from Hamas on multiple occasions for their anti-Israel stance.
The Canadian government has said it would arrest the Israeli PM if he were come to Canada.
There should not be a single member of the Canadian government who is surprised or shocked at the shooting at a synagogue on Yom Kippur yesterday.
Every single action of the Liberal government over the last 11 years has enabled and empowered this. Every single action and inaction has led to this point.
Yesterday’s shooting is a direct result of our Liberal government.
So don’t expect anything to change now.
If they didn’t want Canada to be a hotbed of Jew hate they would have made different decisions.
They knew exactly what they were doing.
And exactly where it would lead.
