@RexChapman Let’s talk about standardized testing. Because as a teacher working w/ English Learners, social language is acquired a lot faster than academic language. When limited English students do not know any better, this social language heavily impacts their scores. Sadly, that matters.

@TheRealHoarse My teaching dept (Eng Lang Learners) organized our first "district-wide" multicultural/international festival (outdoors), and it was unbelievably successful! Families from all over the world participated, and we drew a respectful crowd with numbers we never could've imagined.
