Jake Lang was indicted on 11 federal counts for January 6. The government's filing lists sixteen timestamps in a five minute span at which he beat police officers with an aluminum baseball bat, stopping only when a rubber bullet hit his foot. One officer limped for days. Lang filmed all of it himself and posted it: "Arrest me. You are on the wrong side of history."
He never stood trial. Trump pardoned him on day one of the second term.
Since then, in eighteen months:
He brought a severed pig's head with a Quran in its mouth to a mosque running a food pantry in Plano, and tried to block families from reaching it. He tried to burn a Quran in Dearborn, failed, and laid bacon on it instead, then sued the city for $200 million for not protecting him better. He burned Qurans successfully at least twice more. He burned a Pride flag outside an ICE facility with a caption ending "They shall surely be put to DEATH."
He threw chocolate coins outside AIPAC and called immigrant children "anchor babies sent in as chemical weapons by the Talmudic Jews." He told a Frisco city council meeting that if he lived in Texas he would burn down a mosque. He got thrown out of a Fort Worth school board meeting for objecting to a principal's hijab.
He kicked apart a $6,250 ice sculpture that a veterans group had a permit to display at the Minnesota Capitol, then called it "artistic expression." Felony charge, plus a bias count.
He was jailed ten days for contempt in Tennessee. Arrested in Dearborn with psychedelic mushrooms in his U-Haul. Arrested for trespassing in Frisco. Skipped a DC hearing and collected a bench warrant.
He stood outside a murder trial in Texas with a "White Lives Matter" sign saying the Black defendant "should be hanging from that tree," and warned that if the jury did not convict: "I will be waiting outside this courthouse. Guess what? Headshot. Done." Arrested at the airport. Bond set at $1 million.
And last week he pleaded guilty to threatening the police commander who faced him at the Capitol tunnel in 2021, the man he said should be "put down like a dead dog" and "hung right here in front of the Capitol on national TV."
Sentence: 180 days, fully suspended. He walked out.
He is on the ballot in Florida's Republican Senate primary on August 18.
In March of last year Donald Trump sued Capital One for closing over 300 of the Trump Organization’s bank accounts in 2021. Trump and his sons claimed it was political.
Capital One Financial hit back on Friday this week. In court filings they stated that they closed the accounts after a review by anti-money laundering experts.
In their filing Capital One stated “documents and Plaintiffs’ own allegations make clear that Capital One closed Plaintiffs’ accounts for anti-money laundering (“AML”) reasons. The closures were the result of months of analysis and a careful review by Capital One’s AML team in accordance with bank policies and regulatory guidance.”
This should be a surprise to no one. Donald Trump has been laundering money for years for Russian and Chinese entities and his hotel in Panama is known as Narco-a-lago after a Global Witness investigation revealed that Trump had made millions laundering money for Colombian drug cartels through the property.

By Rev. Joseph Yoo+:
I completely understand why some people are angry with Fauci.
He told Americans the virus was under control and would soon disappear.
He predicted cases would soon be close to zero.
He said the virus would miraculously go away.
He privately admitted the virus was “deadly stuff”… “more deadly than even your strenuous flus”… “this is deadly stuff”… while publicly minimizing it.
He privately said, “This thing is a killer… if it gets you, it rips you apart.”
He told Bob Woodward COVID was far more dangerous than the flu while saying something very different in public.
He promoted hydroxychloroquine as a game changer before good evidence supported it.
He suggested looking into disinfectant injections or using powerful light inside the body.
He said, “If we stop testing right now, we’d have very few cases, if any.”
He publicly congratulated himself on his handling of the pandemic and repeatedly gave his response top marks.
Oh.
Wait.
None of those things were Anthony Fauci.
Every single one of them was Donald Trump.
As I reported a couple of weeks ago, Trump, the DOJ and the WH were lying all along. Cases against alleged vandals were all lies. Lawsuits should be filed and the liars should be shamed.
Trump didn’t want to admit that he personally hired an unqualified contractor who screwed up the Pool and cost taxpayers millions. So instead he had the hack Fox host who he installed as US attorney indict an innocent man so he could blame him and others for his own incompetence.
