@Nickolgolf We sponsor the course there (hole #14 that you're on there) and I get to play it 20 times a year when I'm in the area. Feel blessed for that!
@ThomasDrance@TheAthleticNHL That would be the final straw. I'd just stop following the Canucks. I don't hate myself enough to watch or pay attention to this anymore.
@smithhmackenzie I had very, very similar experience. And a very, very similar mindset shift after 4 days in a cabin by myself.
I'm so much better for it. Growth is everything. But a redefined growth - not getting to redefined goalposts, but the process of getting to them. Kudos!
We spend our entire early lives being told we have to be ready for the adult world, then you grow up and quickly realize no one has a fucking clue what’s going on.
Inflation is caused by the Federal government spending more than it earns, because they just print more money to make up the difference.
To solve inflation, reduce wasteful government spending. Your tax dollars should be spent well, not poorly.
Mayhem!!! Nine-year-old Kamloops golf wunderkind Everett Quewezance cans an ace while we’re filming a @CFJC_Today Tattle of Hastings episode. Hole 3 at @tobianogolf. Before his shot, he asked what I’d buy him from clubby if he made a hole-in-one. Unreal :) @DonnellyTV on camera.
For what it's worth, I feel the same evolution (mostly) in my thinking that you described in your last podcast.
I'd be all over a podcast that was less frequent but was inspirational and motivational to new and aspiring entrepreneurs, or even more established ones who need to stay hungry.
The current events/politics stuff was not what kept me tuning in - I probably listened less over the years because I am trying to avoid focusing on things like politics that are outside my sphere of influence.
Current events perhaps provided content to talk about when you need to keep up a pace of podcast releases, but the content that drove me to want to listen was when you told stories about winners winning and wanting it all / not compromising.
It takes a lot of guts and effort and hard work to be an entrepreneur. Sometimes you need to be pumped up. Taking ownership for myself and my outcomes made a difference for me, my family, and my business - keep spreading the gospel one way or another man, you're good at it.
@rdjackson7 Fantastic! I got 107 row 18 - going with a work colleague... Who will be in the wrong jersey :-(
If there's time maybe we can catch up for a drink before
