🚨 A police investigator and his wife have been charged with trying to COVER UP their son Molesting a child.

William Gipson, 52, an investigator and supervisor in the Athens-Clarke County Police Department’s domestic violence unit, was arrested along with his wife, Wendi Gipson and their 18-year-old son, Chasen Gipson. All three were charged in connection with a child sex abuse investigation.

Chasen Gipson is charged with child molestation and attempted creation of child sexual abuse material. William and Wendi Gipson were both charged with tampering with evidence and second-degree cruelty to children, suggesting they attempted to cover up the abuse and failed to protect the child.

William Gipson was fired from the police department following his arrest. The investigation remains ongoing.
