I drive at 70 most of my journey. I stick to the middle lane, if someone is driving slower or lane hogging like you say I overtake and get back to the middle lane. There’s always lane 3 for everyone else who want to drive illegally faster than the limit and put everyone else at risk.

What I will not do however, increasing the accident risk by constantly going from lane 1 to 2 to 3 and then go back to 2 and 1 and repeat this again and again just to pass some incompetence person driving at 50 on a motorway.
