In meeting with France’s Permanent Representative to the UN., Amb. Jérôme Bonnafor, Pakistan’s high-level delegation raised concern over India’s illegal abeyance of the Indus Waters Treaty, warning against weaponisation of water amid climate stress. We reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace and justice and emphasised resolving root cause of the conflict, especially Jammu & Kashmir dispute, the unfinished agenda on UNSC. Urged France to play a proactive role and support dialogue, uphold international law, and help advance lasting peace in South Asia.
