It is also based on data from teachers regarding marking, our principal is a math/science specialist & I am an ELA specialist. It does not take extra curricular into account as our teachers earn a stipend for extras.

@ModestTeacher Depends on what part of the world & system you are in. In the Middle East we do first names as family names can lead to stereotyping - so as AP I’m Ms. Jennifer, in Sri Lanka I was Jen, in India I was Ma’am/Aunty/Sister

The pandemic affected different age groups differently, but I am noticing something with this new group who was very young (5/6y) during lockdown.

It's not that they don't know how to do things. I think they're not used to being expected to do things on their own.

🙌🏼 throughout the pandemic we said it would be a travesty to go back to doing things like we did before..well it happened for most - same terms, school day..Ss know ders better ways to do things & are no longer convinced “regular” school is the way forward. Maybe they’re right!?!
