@rojasburke @AubreyGilleran Making a blanket statement about white people being ______ is not the same thing as having a racial dialogue. Making an asshole statement about any race is bound to be triggering to someone. Your example isn't a fallacy but doesn't relate to the original tweet.
@THB_Dad@RichardIrving2@sapinker The authors don't ignore this at all. Their point is that, contrary to many narratives, many black males ARE succeeding, and there are definite factors that contribute to that success (i.e. education, employment, and marriage) and those that greatly hurt it.
@Miss_Jera35@rachaelmbade@ddale8@SpeakerPelosi@NickMiroff Actually it's because of the incredible burden it causes to the cities. It sounds like you're not aware of what's happening in El Paso right now, where hundreds of people are being released weekly into downtown with nothing but a bus pass.
@KJSSWP @ChildrensBureau I think there are many who care to make necessary changes. It's just understanding what exactly is causing the issue and how to implement change.

@TynishaT5 Tynisha, I was very resistant to using social media for this class, but I too see the usefulness now and I believe I will continue to use it professionally in the future.
I can see how social media is helpful in the promotion of ideas and information, as well as networking with other professionals to build power. I see myself using Twitter professionally in the future.
SW401 01 to round out our evening, in a NEW Tweet, discuss your twitter experience this semester; how will you use social media in your social work career?
@HolmanLashayia My Grandmother was removed from a nursing home after suspected neglect. Terrible and scary; I hope we can change our cultural attitudes towards aging people to promote their dignity and worth to society.
My policy was the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, to address child abuse and neglect that continues to affect our nation's children. Though policy seems to be improving, racial and ethnic minorities continue to be disproportionately affected
@KJSSWP Both are in unique positions to identify students who may be experiencing problems. However, I would just be careful with violating confidentiality.
Tomorrow is Veteran's day! Thank a vet, and remember that they experience a disproportionate rate of mental health issues, homelessness, and unemployment. https://t.co/RDKluZGJ5O
