@TeresaM04548363@Desmonged@marcuschown She tried, but she couldn't support his head, and he would start choking. She did put water on the sheet for him to suck. She now has cancer and has refused treatment after watching my dead die.
@Desmonged@marcuschown My mum watched my dad begging for water when he was in palliative care. He couldn't talk but could sign. He tried sucking on his sheet to get moisture. She was by his side for 2 weeks. Thankfully the last 3 days he was unconscious.
He was starved and no water until he died.
@DudeAdhd My mum is 83, my eldest brother is 63 with learning disabilities. He has his own place.. no support except his 83 year old friend. My brother is struggling with his health at the moment. My sister and I are supporting him in the best way we can with hospital appointments.
@joanne_temple @RachelCDailey The thing that annoyed me the most as that I was counted in the statistics of women who do not attend a smear, and how difficult it was to be removed. Surely this could be done when a full hysterectomy is done. π€
@DJDinamique@adamfare1996 The counselling directory is also a good place to look as the check everyone who applies to be on it, as well as the BACP website.
@DJDinamique@adamfare1996 There are some, mostly in or around London. EMDR is also very expensive. It can depend on qualifications and experience, always check a therapist is registered.
@DJDinamique@adamfare1996 As a therapist working privately in the UK, I am not earning 'tonnes of money'. When working out my fee, I have to consider my overheads, if I worked out the out of hours work I also do I would be earning less than minimum wage.
@martinimarie They hate change so much that it has taken 1.5yrs to get used to the idea of having their bedroom changed, and you are now once a week removing items from the room so the change isn't to big in one go. I reckon it will be done in another 1.5yrs
Omg..is it really that long ago since I last posted anything? Lots happened in that time. My garden shed grew, so it is now a lovely big space. I am very busy, and many of my clients have #sen
I really must try and post more often

@BBCbreakingNewt@75ThunderRoad I am self employed and have long covid. I am able to work, but my partner is now my carer. I'm lucky to be able to work from home.
Updated Attendance Guidance encourages prosecution and fines of families facing barriers to attendance. Undiagnosed children with SEND are particularly at risk. Please don't criminalise our families. - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/mkyhRBYjMd via @UKChange
I'm back, after 9 months away. I caught Covid last August, it got me bad but I'm OK. I'm still recovering and social media took a back step. A lot of time has been spent in the Garden Shed - both work and relaxing.

I was lucky enough to be able to meet one of my online clients over a 100 miles away from my Garden Shed. His sessions are coming to an end and I asked him to paint a pebble to go in my garden. We β€ frogs.
