@adrianrobison @TheCinesthetic So there is a difference between IMAX and IMAX 70mm, 70mm itself has been dying with fewer releases. It just recently started taking off again in the US. Actual projectionists are also lower in number, and charge a LOT.

So IMAX 70mm has not been built in a while, but digital has

I have worked in theaters my whole working life and the same film can have 4 different lengths of trailers before it.

This is for Regal and AMC.

If mine can recoup the costs they even return my deductible if I am not at fault for the accident.

Similar happened to me and my insurance paid for repairs and then they took the uninsured driver to court for their costs and lawyer fees.

They ended up winning since I had dashcam footage of it and him fleeing so easier for me.

@ricothetrader_ @PicturesFoIder Technically yes. Her insurance will pay for the repair, new car, etc that is covered by her plan.

Usually they will then take him to court to get all of the costs to them back. (this is how my insurance does it)

Sometimes they require you to take the other driver to court.

If it is a 100gb+ game then it definitely is downloading from online as Ps5 game discs only have 100gb of space on them.

@bathotek @BouchMillaTre I mean I see the same issue if Microsoft makes games for ARM on console and then has to port to x86 on pc. PC, I believe, is a larger market than console so it would make sense if they port from pc to console but that isn't how they roll.

In @helldivers2 has anyone else lately not been able to reinforce? Me and another dude are dead and we have 7 reinforces left but the other 2 guys cannot respawn us at all. They throw it down but nothing. Caused us to not get the finish mission in 6min or less...

I died once to the evac ship despite being nowhere near it, body warped under the wing after death. I also died to a random explosion container that I picked up and put down. Nothing hit the container.

@PlayOverwatch So you all still have the issue where the game crashes, I immediately rejoin, and it suspends me from comp because your game crashed... No option to rejoin the game I was in.

@LeSuedois89 @InternetH0F As someone who has worked in movie theaters my entire working life I can tell you 95% of movies are in 5.1 with 3% being stereo, 1.5% being 7.1, then the last 0.5% having atmos (yes they do differentiate on the dcp files they send us).

It is just poor mixing from companies.

@aerodud3 @insultsrare After taxes, insurance, and possibly a method of transportation to get to that job it is closer to about 24k. So you would have $0 for food at 2k rent.

If you mean 35k after taxes that is closer to 50k+

@snuffyowo Yes some do. As many people have pointed out all theaters are required to have some CC devices be it cuphodler or glasses.

However, some theaters will do an open caption show, or OC, which has the subs on screen. Usually this is 1-3 shows a week and is usually a new movie.

@EchoThunderbolt @dogshit95 It isn't even just that it is old. Most theaters have a single ac unit for each auditorium then additional ones for the offices and lobbies.

This is so that if one breaks they don't have to shut everything down, just the one theatre. The units also hate running over 90F for days
