@HistoryPegg Admins take control of the business and look to achieve the best possible result for creditors. That could be a sale; in some cases it is liquidation. Theoretically DC could phoenix and buy the assets for a NewCo but I can’t see that.

@isthatdavidp Fair enough but one of those businesses, with the backing of the trust, could start the ball rolling. A winder costs about £2k to present. And once it’s started, only the club pay it, it’s the same outcome as if hmrc started it

@isthatdavidp The threshold is only £750. I have nothing tangible to go on but I’d be very surprised if there isn’t a creditor owed at least that. Maybe the trust need to explore that; would definitely accelerate things

@isthatdavidp Problem is, we have no control anyway. DC seems adamant that he won’t negotiate in good faith and he’s seems to think he has strength in a position where he can’t afford the club. Dangerous recipe where admin seems the only way out.

@isthatdavidp We aren’t going to be a championship side next season. We will get a points deduction for the wage failures and we aren’t good enough to stay up. Any buyer will know IMO that we are a league one side with issues; a purchase from admin is a lot cheaper than from DC
