We have learned of the death of a female pilgrim from Niger 🇳🇪, Hadiza Oumar Sy, during the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.

The deceased arrived in Saudi Arabia on 05/05/2026 and was on her way to Medina when she fell ill on the way. She was rushed to the hospital, where Allah took her life.

Her funeral prayer will be held at the Prophet's Mosque and she will be buried in Al Baqi'a Cemetery in Medina.

May Allah have mercy on her, forgive her, and grant her Paradise. We offer our condolences to her family and the entire community. Ameen Ya Rabb 🤲🤲
