Streetlights have stopped working within days of opening the flyover to traffic, leaving it pitch dark and unsafe at night between Shanti Nagar Garden and Shiv Shakti Hotel in East/North Nagpur.
Only one side of the flyover is open, and now the absence of lighting is doubling the risk and inconvenience for citizens.

MahaMetro’s Corruption and Negligence Exposed Again!
MahaMetro, already infamous for corrupt practices and poor-quality work, is once again under fire.
Streetlights on the recently inaugurated double-decker flyover at Kamptee Road have been non-functional for the past several days, causing severe inconvenience to citizens, especially during storms and bad weather.
Despite repeated complaints by residents, including activist Sheikh Shahnawaj, no action has been taken.
Shockingly, even before its inauguration, settlement issues and cracks were reported on this flyover, raising serious concerns about safety and quality!

The unplanned development by Nagpur Municipal Corporation, including concretization of roads, has significantly damaged drinking water pipelines, sewage lines, and stormwater lines. A drinking water pipeline has been damaged, resulting in water continuously flowing underneath Inner Ring Road at Itta Bhatti Chowk in Nagpur for several days. This has led to water contamination, wastage of natural resources, and financial losses for the NMC. The accumulated water on the road surface is causing inconvenience to pedestrians and posing a risk to motorcyclists. Despite these issues, Nagpur Municipal Corporation officials have taken no action.

CEMENT ROADS SCAM: Inner Ring Road was widened and concretized at the cost of around Rs 400 crore. Potholes have become common on this road. A patch of the road between Automotive Square and Ita Batti Chowk in front of Yashodara Nagar Police Station damaged to a great extent and turned into accident prone spot.
Engineers of State PWD, NIT and NMC never inspect roads to check such accident prone spots.
