For the 5th consecutive year, Dubai has ranked as the world’s top destination for greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) projects. In 2025, the emirate attracted 1,253 projects, up 10.5% from the previous year, accounting for a record 7% of all greenfield FDI projects globally, according to the Financial Times' fDi Markets database. Dubai also secured top global rankings in key sectors including manufacturing and artificial intelligence. Thank you to all our teams. These achievements reflect Dubai’s clear vision, competitive business environment, and growing global appeal as a leading destination to live, work, and invest.

للعام الخامس على التوالي، تتصدر دبي مدن العالم في استقطاب مشاريع الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر الجديدة، بعدما نجحت في جذب 1253 مشروعاً جديداً خلال عام 2025، بنمو بلغ 10.5% مقارنة بالعام السابق، واستحوذت على 7% من إجمالي المشاريع الجديدة عالمياً، وهو أعلى معدل تحققه الإمارة في تاريخها، وذلك وفق بيانات "فايننشال تايمز – إف دي آي ماركتس"، كما كانت دبي الأكثر استقطاباً للاستثمارات في عدد من القطاعات الحيوية، وفي مقدمتها التصنيع والذكاء الاصطناعي ... هذه النتائج ثمرة رؤية واضحة، وبيئة أعمال تنافسية، وثقة عالمية تتجدد يوماً بعد يوم بنموذج دبي التنموي ... شكراً لكل فرقنا، والمهمة مستمرة لترسيخ مكانة دبي أفضل مدينة في العالم للعيش والعمل والاستثمار.

As we welcome the new Islamic year, we reflect on the blessed occasion of the Prophet’s Hijrah, the historic journey from Makkah to Madinah, a defining moment that changed the course of history. We remember Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the timeless values he embodied: compassion, justice, and noble character. On this occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our leadership, the people of the UAE, and the Arab and Islamic nations. Work on the Al Maktoum International Airport expansion continues according to the approved timeline, with Phase 1 scheduled to begin operations in 2032. Contracts worth AED13 billion are currently being executed, and more than 10 million work hours have been completed over the past 15 months. Strategic project contracts exceeding AED55 billion are set to be awarded in the coming months.The airport is being developed to handle more than a quarter of a billion passengers annually, supporting Dubai's long-term economic growth. Under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s major projects continue to advance with steady progress and confidence.

تواصل فرق دبي العمل على تنفيذ مشروع تطوير مطار آل مكتوم الدولي وفقاً للبرنامج الزمني المعتمد، الذي يستهدف تشغيل المرحلة الأولى ��ي عام 2032... ويجري حالياً تنفيذ عقود بقيمة 13 مليار درهم، فيما تم إنجاز أكثر من 10 ملايين ساعة عمل خلال الأشهر الـ 15 الماضية، وستتسارع وتيرة التنفيذ خلال المرحلة المقبلة مع طرح مشاريع استراتيجية ضمن المطار تتجاوز قيمتها 55 مليار درهم خلال الأشهر القليلة المقبلة ... في دبي، نبني اليوم مطار المستقبل بطاقة استيعابية تتجاوز ربع مليار مسافر سنوياً، ليشكل بوابة جديدة لمستقبل الإمارة ومحركاً رئيسياً لنموها الاقتصادي لعقود قادمة ... وبتوجيهات ومتابعة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، تمضي دبي في تنفيذ مشاريعها الكبرى بثقة وثبات... وستبقى بإذن الله وبجهود المخلصين، تحلق أبعد برؤيتها، وأعلى بطموحاتها، وأسرع بإنجازاتها.

Today, we directed the launch of the second edition of the Dubai Mallathon, the first initiative of its kind globally to transform Dubai’s shopping malls into vibrant sports and community destinations throughout the summer.

From 15 June to 15 September 2026, malls across Dubai will open daily for walking, running, and a range of sports activities. Open to all, the initiative aims to encourage a healthier, more active lifestyle by making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

We invite residents and visitors alike to join the Dubai Mallathon and take part in its diverse programmes and activities. Together, we can make movement a daily habit and wellbeing a shared goal.

وجّهنا اليوم بإطلاق النسخة الثانية من «دبي مولاثون»، المبادرة الأولى من نوعها عالمياً التي تحوّل مراكز دبي التجارية إلى وجهات رياضية ومجتمعية نابضة بالحياة طوال الصيف.

وعلى مدار ثلاثة أشهر من 15 يونيو إلى 15 سبتمبر 2026، ستفتح مراكزنا التجارية أبوابها يومياً للمشي والجري وممارسة الأنشطة الرياضية. فدبي مدينة للجميع...ومرافقها في خدمة الصغير والكبير.. المواطن والمقيم... الزوار والأسر.

During a meeting of the Higher Committee for the Future of Technology and the Digital Economy, we reviewed key updates on major projects and the roadmap for Agentic AI transformation in the private sector.

Over the next two years, more than 295,000 companies will be empowered through 100 specialised Agentic AI solutions. We also approved Dubai's hosting of the 50th International Collegiate Programming Contest and the launch of the Dubai Global Talent Network to attract and empower top talent.

Our objective is to position Dubai as the world's leading hub for artificial intelligence, supported by a highly attractive regulatory ecosystem and a private sector driving this transformation.

خلال اجتماع اللجنة العليا لمستقبل التكنولوجيا والاقتصاد الرقمي، استعرضنا اليوم آخر مستجدات مشاريع ومبادرات اللجنة واطلعنا على الخطة التنفيذية لبرنامج التحول نحو الذكاء الاصطناعي المساعد في القطاع الخاص. أكثر من 295 ألف شركة ستُمكَّن عبر 100 مساعد ذكاء اصطناعي متخصص خلال العامين المقبلين.

كما اعتمدنا استضافة دبي للدورة الخمسين من البطولة العالمية للبرمجة، أكبر وأعرق المسابقات العالمية المتخصصة في العالم وإنشاء شبكة مواهب دبي العالمية لاستقطاب أفضل الكفاءات وتوظيف خبراتهم. هدفنا واضح: دبي ستكون البيئة الأفضل عالمياً للذكاء الاصطناعي، ومنظومتنا التشريعية ستكون الأكثر جاذبية... والقطاع الخاص شريك يقود هذا التحول. فما بُني على أسس متينة، يرتفع بلا حدود.

I chaired the second Defence Council meeting of 2026, where we reviewed key initiatives to strengthen defence readiness, enhance efficiency, and support national security. With the guidance of His Highness the President of the UAE, we continue to invest in advanced capabilities, accelerate innovation, and strengthen national integration to ensure the UAE remains prepared for the future.

Today, I visited the Dubai International Financial Centre, home to over 8,800 active companies and reviewed its strategic priorities, including its goal to become the world’s first fully AI-Native financial centre. I also received an update on the Zabeel District expansion, a major step in strengthening DIFC’s global position and supporting Dubai’s target under the D33 Agenda to become one of the world’s top 4 financial centres. We have full confidence in the DIFC team's ability to build on its achievements, further strengthening Dubai's position as a global leader in finance, innovation and technology, and a dynamic hub for new growth opportunities.
