@QPR He gave me a job way back in 1973 then again in 1988. A wonderful man and a real pleasure to work with. He taught me so much and I will be forever grateful. Having resigned suddenly in 1989 he never received at the time the plaudits he so deserved. RIP dear Ron 💙🤍💙🤍

So very sad to hear the news about dear John Motson. I had the pleasure of meeting him many times over the years during my time working in football and was so pleased to regard him as a friend. His knowledge of the game was quite phenomenal. Rest in peace Motty 💔
