@ChrScotland Please could a Public Health Consultant with care home experience (are there any?) stand up and tell me why I would pose more risk if I follow the same PPE guidance as the numerous carers and spend time with my mum as part of her caring team? I am the most important carer.

Why not have open dialogue with public health, IPC specialists, managers, residents (or their reps) AND the carers - who are surely the most significant link in the chain of care. Those at the top need to understand what it’s really like at the grassroots level.

3/ Please please please provide some clarity on this - where there is no outbreak relatives should be able to move freely with their loved one in a care home and sit in their own room or the lounge or garden - whatever they prefer. @GrahamEllis247 @DrDMacaskill

2/ This makes no sense to residents or relatives but I don’t believe it is entirely a political decision. It is driven by public health professionals who are not considering the importance of chatting, socialising and walking practice for the wellbeing of many people in care.

1/Great that Social Care Minister @KevinStewartSNP has stressed care homes should get back to normal with no booking systems. But while you could take a loved one to Hampden tonight, you won’t be allowed in their living room and you can’t help them with walking in the corridor.
