@seans1611 @OMApproach Mark 16:1 says the women bought spices after the Sabbath but Luke 23:56 says they prepared the spices before resting on the Sabbath. The only way both work to my understanding is if Friday was the crucifixion and preparation, Saturday was the sabbath and Sunday he resurrected.

@seans1611 @OMApproach Yes you are correct there were two sabbaths that week but the high sabbath doesn’t cancel out the weekly sabbath. If it was Wednesday, where do you fit Luke 23:56 where they rest on the Sabbath and still arrive Sunday morning (Luke 24:1)? Sunday being the first day of the week?

If the sabbath is Saturday and he was crucified on the day of preparation, which is the day before the sabbath, then how is it that Wednesday is before Saturday? Now refer to me the part of the Bible (which you infer people don’t read) that states Wednesday.
