@GovofCO I think congress stopped delivering 30 years ago. Realistically, do we even need a full-time congress anymore? If we could keep the same spending budget year after year, we could have a balanced budget in 10 years. And don't we already have 99% of the laws we need?
@RepPettersen And yet since the beginning of money, that has been reality for most of us. We are free to choose what we spend our money on. We reap the consequences, good or bad.
@TheBabylonBee No matter how your MLB team disappoints you, it could be worse...you could live in a perpetual state of apathy because your team is the Rockies.
@RepPettersen Well, yeah! Obviously, every member of Congress needs to re-take financial literacy training so they can figure out what causes a $40 trillion debt.
@RepPettersen But wasn't this man fleeing capture with his 5 yo son in the car? Maybe we should wait until all the facts are uncovered before blaming Trump.
@WhiteHouse It would have made sense to locate the steel mill near the Mesabi iron ore mines in Minnesota. But Minnesota would have blocked it. So, Iowa reaps the rewards.
@RepPettersen Do you know anyone who understands AI well enough to write technical regulations without destroying the industry? It sure is not politicians!
@GovofCO On the other hand, we are not reading about nuclear atrocities that Iran would surely have committed if we hadn't destroyed their bomb-making facilities. It is kind of selfish to complain about the inconvenience of higher prices without balancing that against the threats.
