Classic Guy Felicella argument, however, Supervised Consumption Sites lead to more public and open drug use in neighbourhoods that children end up witnessing, the same with low barrier supportive housing sites.

We need detox and treatment that is secure for public safety.

Public Outcry Intensifies Over Burnaby Drug Housing Sites.

Residents rallied last week at the Burnaby BC Housing office opposing plans to errect low barrier drug housing at 5389 Imperial Street and 3020 Gilmore Diversion. These projects would have serious negative impacts and harm on the community.

We need to prioritize detox and treatment, rehabilitating drug addicts before we transition them into drug-free and crime-free supportive housing to help them recover.

This right here is the evil and delusion of the #ElbowsUp crowd. An innocent family lost a loved one due to the systemic failures plaguing Canadian healthcare and health policy. Pointing out these problems to try to improve this, instead is seen as anti-Canadian to these complacent pricks. Canadians deserve better in healthcare than to be woke-scolded for speaking out about their tragic (and unfortunately Kafka-esque) experiences.
