(Murder for hire) The hearing you are speaking of in Sept. 2018 did take place and it was actually the 2nd parole hearing where he was once again denied early release.
@maartenbakkerch@RealWouter@SanderDekker There is a lot of info regarding this case. Where are you getting your info? Google, the media??The prosecution was never "convicted".
@NathanOfLaw @Sterksel55 @telegraaf Google and the media. You are only seeing what is being reported. Small snapshot. The focus has been on the first trial. He was granted a 2nd trial, different DA, different jury, different witnesses. Found guilty again.
@memizon @Underwo57497244 @telegraaf Facts: Found guilty twice in 2 different trials for solicitation of murder of Dutch Wife and step daughter. Sentenced to 56 years. Denied parole twice.
@Diabete44412972 @telegraaf I'll add since not all the facts are detailed in Wikipedia. He had 2 trials, found guilty both times for solicitation for murder. Was sentenced to 56 years. Was denied parole twice.
@memizon @zweetkamelen @telegraaf You might find the facts of the case versus Wikipedia. He was found guilty twice in 2 different trials. Sentenced to 56 years. Denied parole 2 times.
@Jan72410451@telegraaf Because as a murder in the Netherlands his time served in the US would allow his freedom. He was found guilty and sentenced to 56 years and was denied parole twice.
@zweetkamelen @telegraaf Because in this case he would be free in the Netherlands. He would not serve another day of time. He was sentenced to 56 years in the US. In the Netherlands murder does not exceed 30 years.
